Vaporized existence
James so eloquently explains
This life we now live
Is but a mist hovering over
Tempest waters of the deep
Undervalued at first site
Mist gets mistier in the night
Blanketed presence
Blinding many of their view
Very few
Dare travel through
Where liquid gathers, lingers
In thin air – a life lifted
Set on course by an unseen force
Mysterious fog – is a life truly lived
There are paranoid spectators full of fears
The brave gracefully navigate through it
Eternally dampened by vaporous tears
Here today, in slow motion,
Much more than a notion – is a life truly lived
Vaporized contents in perfect cadence and dance
Lessons learned and many conversations had
In the end, exhausted
Depleting all essence – vapor's last breath
Creating a fresh new mist the chance to ascend
And live
